Visitors to Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales can now discover the town via the latest mobile technology. Mobile phone users can download a free guide from the National Park Information Centre for free using the bluetooth feature on their phones.
Dan Boys, Creative Director of Audio Trails who produced the guide said, "The beauty of this approach is that the information can be accessed even when the information centre is closed so visitors arriving early or late in the day can still receive it." With over 90% of mobile phones now bluetooth-enabled this method of interpreting the town will appeal to a wide audience and provide them with an instant, and up-to-date, guide at any time of day. Please contact Audio Trails if you would like to download the 'Discover Grassington' guide without traveling to the Yorkshire Dales.

The 'Discover Grassington' guide acts like a mini-website and contains information about the town, plus two local walks. A poster displayed in the window of the National Park Centre provides simple downloading instructions.
